Our Spiritual Love

09 Nov

 photo untitled2_zps5766fc3b.pngOnce In A Lifetime

Back Beyond Memories

Lost In the Mists Of Years

We Lived Before

We Laughed And Loved

I Reached Out For Your Hand

But You Took My Heart

I Saw Love Reflected

From Within Your Very Soul

We Carry Our Memories

And Our Dreams

When Together

We Crossed The Universe

And Spaces

Of Infinite Love

Our Hearts Sparkling

We Played

Amongst The Planets

Moons And Stars

We Chased Each Others Soul

Fluttering

As Gentle As The Butterfly

From One Seconds Love

To Another

Our Hearts A Circle

No Beginning And No End

We Explored Our Eternal Love

And Made Love

Beneath The Faerie Trees

Of The Cosmos

Lost Forever

In Each Other’s Eyes

Joined In The Union

Of Souls Of Love

Destined

To Dance And Romance

The Heavens

For All Times

And Still We Search

The Eternal Skies And Heavens

For Each Others Memories

Of Our Love

From Forgotten Times

Of Long Ago

To Have Again

The Blessings Of The Gods

Of Love

The Ultimate Kiss

Of Eternal Love

Bestowed Upon

Each Others Lips

So many lose their taste for romance as they age – you are one of a kind, Ian!!

Its an acquired habit gpcox, maybe with three marriages under my belt, that might have something to do with it.hehe

Seems we might have travelled down the same path, somewhere in this life.

Dont know if Eternal Love is a good idea Prenin.
After a while the continual euphoria must get a bit boring.
You cant read the same book for Eternity, the bloody pages will wear thin.
      Cheers

Time you blocked me from your friends list Cat.
Dont like my posts making my friends cry.
I dont have too many followers of my poetry cos its mainly Love stuff.
I think a few friends dont even know that Aussie Emu and Aussie Ian , are one and the same.
Now dry your eyes and stop carrying on like a two bob watch.

    Beautiful leader picture!
This poem sounds to me gloriously sad, nostalgic and hopeful at the same time.
Heaven on earth in the past and in the future, eternally . . . .
As I said, you are a master with words, Ian. Thank you for these beautiful words and your friend’s picture.
    Sincerely
    Uta

Thanks Uta, pleased you liked my story, had it in my mind for a few years now, so decided to try to write it.
I wanted to make it Romantic yet with a touch of sadness and a twist in the end, I think it worked.
Jasmine is a friend of mine in WordPress and does beautiful pictures, I think you can find her through my friends list.
She is German but and a really lovely person, I think you will enjoy her in your friends list.
      Cheers

A momentous occassion Uta, there was a time where the wall, looked as though it would stand forever.
May the world never again, build barriers, putting people against people.
