Love Is An Hourglass

23 May

Love Is Not A Game

For In Love

We Fall Under The Spell

And Let Our Hearts

Roam Free

To Dwell In The Heart

Of One True Love

Two Tiny Grains Of Gold

Filter In The Sands

Of The Eternal Hourglass

Shine Today

Gone Tomorrow

Yet Such Is The Soul

Destined To Return

The Hourglass

Of Eternal Time

Rotates

Many Times Over

We Hold Each Others

Hearts

In Many Shapes

And Forms

We Return

But Eternally Locked

Within The Hourglass

Two Tiny Grains Of Gold

Filter Through

The Sands

Of Eons

To Reunite

Yet But For A Brief Moment

As The Breath

Of The Winds

To Touch

And Feel The Earth

To Feel The Passions

Of A Mortals Love

Love Is Not A Game

Of Chance

For I Have Felt

Eternal Love

And Now Destined

To Reunite

With My Soul

For Now I Know

My Heart Is Not Alone

For In The Hourglass

Of Eternal Love

There Within The Sands

Of Time

Two Tiny Grains

Of Gold

Flicker And Shine

“Two Tiny Grains Of Gold Filter Through The Sands Of Eons”… You poetry always resonates Ian, for Love does come down through Time, and we are but specs caught within the tumbling hours of time.. This is why it is so remarkable when twin flames meet and recognise each other . They have known each other through out TIME…. and yet through all the grains of sand in the world… There they meet…
Keep shining Ian… your poetry never flickers in its flame of love.. 🙂
Wishing both you and Ana a beautiful Day xox

Thank you Sue for that comment, I have a feeling that when I wrote that poem, that actually I was writing it for all of mankind, sounds weird but what I was trying to show was that we are all interconnected and tumbling around, trying to find our place in our universe, hard to explain but the bottom line is that it finally comes down to love.
      Regards
      Ian
