Forgotten Title

15 Jan

I Saw You from Afar

That Early Summers Morn

When New Born Dew

Blanketed the Ground

Alone I Strolled in Dreams

Of a Love

Beyond My Reach

Deep in Memories

And Lost in a World

Of Romance and Love

I saw You

In the Corner

Of My Eye

And Gazed

Upon Your Tender Form

And Pondered

On Your Presence

Your Small Form

So Young and Fragile

So Tiny

Your Face So Radiant

And Red

Glowing

In the Early Morning

Sunlight

Gently You Swayed

In a Slow Dance

Before My Eyes

Mesmerizing My Mind

Back and Forth

You Swayed

Showing

Your Beauty

In all its Nakedness

Not yet Developed

But Still

In the Blossoming Glow

Of One yet to Grow

To a Beauty and Splendour

To be Sold in Love

And Given in Love

To Promise Vows

Of Eternal Love

And Break the Hearts

Of Young Lovers

Your Beauty

Will bring Tears

Of Happiness

In Girlish Eyes

And Inflame the Desires

And Passions

In Many Lovers Eyes

 For Months I Watched You

In My Wanderings

Of Love and Dreams

Till that Eventual Day

On that Bright

Summers Morn

I Gazed upon Your Beauty

And oh So Slowly

My Cherished Rose

Your Bud

Began to Open

And Before My Eyes

You Blossomed into

The Most Beautiful Rose

Within My Garden

And Filled My Heart

With Dreams

Of My One True Love

The Rose

Within My Heart

Ian this is yet another wonderful heart filled poem, I have read it several times, and as I read it took me back to seeing the form of my baby daughter, red faced small tiny form, born into this world on a early summers morn, who would grow and bloom, break hearts and take my breath away..
I always find it amazing how poems when we write we hold our own thoughts and images within our minds and how when others read our words we weave our own images around them…
This was beautiful Ian, and brough a lump within my throat, For Love is so hard to put into words and yet Ian you manage to always convey to us that emotion that for some is hard to put into words x Bless you x

Thanks Sue , your comments always leave me with a warm feeling
Like someone has actually felt the emotions in my words
Too often we write and people leave generic comments and click the like button
but its beautiful to know someone really did read your words and felt the emotions behind the pen
      Thanks Princess

Hi Deb , dont know if I was born to write , in my early days most of my poetry was written in an alcoholic daze
Some of it still is but I have calmed down a lot since those days , still like my beer and sometimes get carried away writing
Dont think I hurt anyone and like to think that friends like you appreciate my writings
      Your a beautiful friend Deb
