Le Fleur De Souvenirs

25 Jun

Te Souviens Mon Amour De La Nuit

Lorsque Nous Nous Promenions

Dans Les Rues Du Vieux Paris

Audessous Des Lampadaires

Couverts De Pluie Legere

Main Dans La Main

Sur La Pave De Pierres

En Cette Nuit D’amour

Nous Marchions Tranquillement

Et Sentions Une Brume Fraiche S’elever

De La Seine

Nous Etions

Tant En Amour

Mon Doux Coeur

Tes Yeux Seintillants

Durant Ces Premiers Jours

De Notre Bonheur

Je Te Regardais Dans Les Yeux

Avec Adoration

Et Caressais Te Cheveux Long Si Radiants

Protégés Cette Nuit

Par Ton Parasol

Les Lampadaires

Venaient A Peine D’allumer

Et Timidement

Tu Temparais De Ma Main

Si Tendrement

Nous Nous Promenions Tres Tard

Mon Doux Coeur

Jusqu’a Ce Que Les Lampadaires

Commencaient A S’eteindre

Et Au Dessous Del La Faible Lumiere

Nous Nous Embrassions

Nous Professions Notre Amour Pour L’eternite

Et Bras Dessus Bras Dessous

Dans Un Reve D’amoureux

Nos Ombres Disparaissaient

Dans Les Brouillards

Dela Seine Lorsque

Nous Nous Promenions Dans Les Rues Du Vieux

J’ai appris le français comme un enfant à l’école. Nous pourrions étudier le français ou l’espagnol, mais j’ai pris la cause française, il est romantique…. 😉

Thank you Lady Jude , I found it quite relaxing and seemed to illustrate in music the emotions of the words I had written.
Wishing you a great Sunday girl
When are the bloody quakes going to give you Kiwis a break ?

you’ve managed it, Ian, stopped me singing along with the lyrics 😉 …… but saying that I’ve installed a Translation add-on to my Firefox browser, and it’s done the job magnificently. Mind you, I’d rather hear the words spoken or sung in French, in fact I think anything said/sung in the language of love gets my toes curling with deeeelight…. xPenx.
