My Milonga Experience

I was fortunate in being able to attend
a Concierto in Tango
by the Argentianian director Oscar Elia.
The concierto included dancers and singer.
Having been pushed as a child at school
to learn a few of the steps
of the South American dances
I have always had an appreciation of this music and steps.
The Tango is an Argentinian dance
and is beautiful to watch
when two partners are attuned as one
for then you see two dancers
completely in harmony as one.
One particular form of Tango is called Milonga
now having said that the Tango is Argentinian in origin
then so is the Milonga style of Tango
however the Milonga appears to have emerged
from what we in the western world
would call the seedier side of the railway track
ie smoking clase halls or bar rooms.
This is not to say its crude in any way.
The Tango is a very tittilating and sensual dance
it is provocative and stimulates the senses
both in dress style and moves.
I watched some clips in Australia
prior to my travel to South America
and wanted to see the Milonga in person.
 Well I got my chance.
Now this clip of the Milonga dancers
has certain foot movements
that make the Milonga a dance in its own right
The moves to be aware of are
the female dancer at certain times
very rapidily brings her leg up
between her male partners legs
almost I think to the groin.
The male partener at times
also does this to his female partner
 these moves are rapid
and are carried out
and whils’t the whole bodys are attuned
and in complete harmony with the tempo of the dance.
Watch and enjoy the authentic Argentinian dance
the Milonga a very sensual, sexual, scintillating South American form of Tango.
I need to watch it again
