Hi Ian!
Third comment!!!
They sell Lithium Ion batteries that are 90 times more powerful than Alkaline batteries, but I can’t find any shop in Middleton that sells them.
As soon as I have the money saved I’m going to order some over the web.
Thank God for Internet shopping!!! LoL!!!

One thing I have never tried Prenin, is internet shopping, much like I have a fear of internet banking.
Ian

June 12, 2013 at 07:00
I use internet banking, but all my online purchases are made with a credit card as a rule: 30 days insurance and good security means I don’t lose money if things go bad!
So far I haven’t had a problem with it, but if anyone steals my details I can stop the card and that blocks any attempt to raid me!
The only times I had to cancel my credit card was when one was stolen by Darren’s fake gangster friend and when Sony was hacked!!!
God Bless!

Hi Ian!
Second comment!!!
Yeah it’s a problem with the new cameras that they eat memory, but 240 shots seems so little these days when they are talking Thousands of shots!
The charger problem is common: Sometimes they work and sometimes they don’t, but you are set now so no worries!!!
8,000 shots beats the hell out of my humble 1,961! LoL!!!
As you say though: Well worth it!

Hi Ian!
The phlegm problem has been going on since I was put on Olanzapine a decade ago, but most of the time I have no serious problems with it apart from if my nose gets blocked, in which case I get a dry throat and it needs Semtex to shift it – usually triggering a vomiting attack.
As the years have past the vomiting has become rarer and rarer, but it still means I have to clear it before I can go shopping in case it happens outside my home.
Given time I’m sure it will solve itself – not that the doctor can help… (Sigh!)
Let me know how things go with the doctor dude – they should have a fair idea of what’s wrong with the cat scan alone and no matter what there will be good options!
God Bless!

Hi Ian!
Just caught your comment!!!
Yes, I ordered the camera, a pouch for it and an 8Gig memory card!
Providing it is posted tomorrow I should have it all by next week!
My old camera has a dodgy switch which cannot be repaired, but I had it for many long years so I’m content!
Amazing what features these new cameras have!!!
Pat and I normally have a small celebration at her place with the girls giving me money in my birthday cards, so this year I plan to surprise them all with gifts.
It won’t be jewellery, but copies of my books!
I dedicated ‘Jabberweil hunt’ to Becky and ‘Songs of Angels’ to Emily, so they’ll be delighted!
Trouble is that the order will make a dent in my reserves, but it’s important to me that they get something to treasure!
God Bless my friend!

Hi Ian!
Yep: These modern cameras are amazing!!!
This one sorts out focus, shutter speed etc. and even waits until the subject’s eyes are open before taking the shot!!!
It produces a shot of 16Megapixels in size so you can print them as posters!!! LoL!!!
Carry on at this rate and soon we’ll be wearing our cameras!!!

I’m afraid you are right Ian.
Sooner or later there is going to be a backlash while the government bends over backwards to accommodate the Muslims and try to control their access to radical Muslim websites.
You can’t legislate the problem away, they have to man up and face it instead!
Meanwhile radical Islam continues to spread and they use recent converts to do their dirty deeds against the innocent majority.
I notice none of the radical Imam’s lead by example when it comes to suicide bombings – they must be allergic to Semtex…

Yes, Doug was probably sober – he learned to regret it though!!!

One thing is sure – he’s getting more and more persistent…

Hi Ian!

Yes.
They come here to the UK from across the world, passing through several countries to get here, then try to change the UK into the country they were so desperate to leave in the first place!
We have had several honour killings where parents have murdered their daughters, sold them into forced marriages and more, but although much has been done to rescue them, or punish the perpetrators, it still goes on – as does female genital mutilation even though it is illegal here!
We’ve also had a string of Muslim paedophile rings prostituting white children with 57 more being investigated as I write.
Now they are murdering us in the streets in the name of Islam…

MMMM!!!! Honey and Cinnamon in lemon juice!
I used to chew cinnamon sticks when I was a kid!
I’m with you on the beer chaser, but I had to give up alcohol as the price has gone through the roof here in the UK.
Once the ESA test is passed and I get my full benefits (I can hope!
) I’ll buy a bottle of Jack Daniels Old Number 7 bourbon and get plastered.
I haven’t had a drink in months!
Doug, however, continues to drink heavily and is now posting notes through my door asking for me to fix his apple flavoured electronic cigarette because he sat on it and broke it.
After all he’s done to me and said about me he expects me to help him…

Hi Ian, I hope Ana’s drink helped you to fight the flu. Peter recently has taken to warming up some wine on the stove. If you add some spices to it you call it “Glühwein”. It beats having very cold beer on a cold night! I try to keep very warm all the time so I won’t catch the flu. The nights here in Dapto are awfully cold these days!

I have no liking for the way it has been rearranged to increase advertiser access to personal data so I rarely leave any comments!
I’d delete it entirely, but it’s the only way I get to know what my God daughter and her family is up to as Pat has retired on her pension and Neil has problems which can only be cured by injecting large amounts of money – and since he has run out of things to sell me to the investigative journalists for he’s not happy to see me!!!

Hi Ian!
Third comment!
They’d work a bag of bones if it can put one foot in front of the other!
Right now the Tories are obsessed with reducing the deficit despite the world wide depression which has crippled the European Union to the point some countries are effectively bankrupt and are being financially supported in return for draconian cuts.
They are still borrowing though and their plans and efforts have had little effect so they are cutting deep and hard – I’m just one of those who are in the firing line.
They have a simple technique to make this possible: When they went after single parents they made a big thing of people having kids so as to get benefits and not need to work.
Bull, but with the party machine working their friends in the press, it went through.
Next they went after people on benefits from being out of work, calling them workshy.
End result?
With no jobs ‘out there’ those like Doug became actively persecuted and he suffered repeated cuts to his benefits to punish him for not obeying their draconian rules.
He’s now working his ticket by claiming his injured right arm makes him unable to work.
I don’t know how long it will last before somebody checks on him, but right now he can afford to feed himself and buy cheap cider as he’s a chronic alcoholic.
Now it’s my turn, the government claiming that they are ‘empowering’ the disabled so they can get jobs.
This ‘empowerment’ consists of testing everyone to see if they are physically capable of work under the cover of changing the benefits system and kicking off as many as possible under the fiction that one million of the people on sickness benefits were put there to massage the jobless figures.
They will then ‘empower’ the disabled by cutting their benefits until they are so ‘empowered’ they’ll take any job offered.
It’s a dirty business…
God Bless!

Hi Ian!
Thanks for the visit and comment!
Yes, stress does get to you and it doesn’t take much as I’m already fighting the constant low-level fear that paranoid schizophrenia has gifted me.
I’m just glad I haven’t had a panic attack, although when my mail arrived from ATOS I had a class A1 anxiety attack, but I can handle them!
I agree about the dehydration problem with stress and I drink a lot of liquids to compensate.
It could be three months before I get a result, so I’m wondering if I’ll get to keep my benefits or not.
In theory, as a paranoid schizophrenic, I should pass.
In fact they are looking at anything to reduce the numbers on sick pay (no matter what they call it) so I won’t be safe until I get the final decision.
If I DO lose my benefits I can sign onto Jobseekers Allowance which is a third less than I’m getting now and then struggle to find a job in a depressed job market where even the healthy like Doug cannot find employment!
There is also the problem with discrimination which I’ve experienced many times in the past sixteen years.
People can be very prejudicial when it comes to mental illness…
Hope you have a great weekend!!!
God Bless!

I have given evidence in trials and others who gave statements refused to give evidence after gangs of teenagers congregated outside their home making threats.
As a result witnesses have to give evidence in writing so they don’t have to face the criminals in court, or via video link.
It’s a bad area where the local gangsters have their friends accuse you of being a paedophile so that they can ruin your reputation and drive you out if you should become a possible threat to their fiefdom.
Doug works for the worst of our local gangster families in return for protection, hence my problems with him…
God Bless!
Prenin.

Definitely a bad scenario Prenin, I might be wrong but you seem to be locked into a situation that you cant get out of, close to Doug and a dangerous neighbourhood, pity you cant move to a quieter place where you can get some peace and enjoy a better way of living.

Now you know why I want to win the lottery! LoL!!!
So far I’ve had death threats hurled at me in the street, I’ve been held at knife point (I told him to put it away or I’d make him eat it!) and held at gun point (I called him a Tosser and ignored him!), but at least the Police bothered to turn up and apparently I now have a good reputation as a stand-up guy so I’m mostly left alone!
Tony, our resident druggy, has had to move out because he was gutless and claimed the locals threatened him, but not before borrowing £17 off Doug and £16.40 off me and vanishing into the sinkhole estates around Rochdale.
After 26 years living here this is the quietest it has ever been and I know I can sleep nights without needing a fire extinguisher near my bed in case they petrol bomb my home…
I guess sometimes the best thing to do is dig in and hold on!
God Bless my friend!

It’s just life here: It makes you either stand and fight, or knuckle under and get picked on by every wannabe hard man, including paedophiles who try to be foxes running with the hounds to conceal their own activities like ‘I’m a hard man please don’t hit me Howarth’ who tried to get Alison and Marie’s parents to attack me in an effort to cover up his own activities with the girls!
When the truth came out he threatened to shoot their parents if they came near him, but that just added to my reputation as a good guy!
This was added to when the local teenagers tried to drive me and my neighbours out.
Thing is these teenagers are gutless which is why they walk around in packs, trying to terrorise everyone!
Usually it’s just one or two trouble causers hiding behind the others.
Once they reach 18 they find the law pays more attention and they can’t get a job because of their past criminal records, so they either start dealing drugs, or they become burglars and/or professional shoplifters, stealing to fund the drug and alcohol habits they picked up as kids.
Kyle, Jamie and Sammie Mallinson tried everything they could to drive me out of my home so they could rule our block of flats because Darrell was gutless, while Mark, Darren and I did the security detail, reported them for their petty crimes and in return they smashed my windows on a regular basis.
Once they received Anti Social Behavior Orders (ASBO’s) thanks to our landlord’s legal team (The Police were a joke) they backed off, switching to stealing GPS units from cars (They called it ‘going Tom Tomming after the Tom Tom GPS units) to swap for drugs.
Last heard they were undergoing Methadone treatment for drug addiction and were selling drugs to fund their drug addict lifestyles.
Because I stood up to be counted I had everything thrown at me, but these days I have a good reputation and everyone thinks my every orifice is solar powered…
Sadly here you are either predator or prey – and I have no intention of becoming prey.
God Bless!
Prenin.

An interesting reading Prenin, seems like you have endured and survived after many years, all credit to you for not bowing down, by the sound of it paedophile activity is not uncommon in your area.
I like to think that you now are the predator on those that preyed on you emotionally and mentally, thats why you are stronger and a survivor.

Hi Ian!
We have had a bad problem with paedophilia in the area for decades, my earliest memory is of my dad trying to sell me to local gangsters involved in child prostitution, child pornography and blackmail, so I had an early experience of just what goes on!
We’ve had several people (I use the term loosely) like Howarth who exploited local children whose parents were unable to go to the Police for fear of being attacked by these gangsters, or were blackmailed into silence.
I was unfortunate in that the girls were friends of mine who I knew well and helped out, so the predators like Howarth felt threatened and tried to shift the blame onto me to cover up their own activities.
Fortunately the truth came out, but kids like Stephanie who were abused refused to give evidence because they hated the Police more than their abusers.
I knew Stephanie from the age of seven and looked after her when she left home.
She’s now a mum and no longer involved in prostitution (a career often followed by abuse victims) which she was introduced to by a woman who worked in massage parlors who used her youth to make even more money.
Despite this she survived to become a mother and we are still great friends.
Of course the Police have proven to be a joke where this kind of stuff is concerned, more interested in preserving the status quo than in doing something about serial offenders like Howarth whose eldest daughter I looked after when she ran away from home and fell pregnant after rape aged 15.
She sold her body to drug dealers and became a drug dealer herself.
I also video taped her mother’s remarriage after her mum recovered from a knife attack paid for by her ex-husband according to her mum.
We live in a VERY sick area…
God Bless!

I’ve had the phone call and passed that, but now I have the form to wait for and then maybe an interview for work capability assessment.

Hi Ian!
You are right of course: I tried last year, but he wormed his way back into my life a bit at a time until I put my foot down and wouldn’t let him go any further which ticked him off!
Now he’s reached rock bottom and has started to dig.
He seems to think that, because I didn’t beat the shit out of him for selling me to the local gangsters and they then sold me to the investigative journalists, that he could get things back to where he was controlling me again.
Uh NO!!! DON’T THINK SO!!! LoL!!!
Wednesday the Social Services intervention team will be visiting with the housing manager and as he’s not cleaned up his act I suspect he is going to be for the high jump!
Some people can’t be helped…

Hi Ian!
I agree my friend!
Part one was a case of surviving the unliveable and since part two has begun I am happier and healthier than ever!
The only downer today is that the pharmacy lost my meds (again) and I have to phone on Monday to see if they’ve sorted out their mess!

If not I’m going to make an official complaint!!!

Hi Ian!
I agree!
I got my pills OK on Monday so I’m ready for the next month and I have a dental appointment for Friday at 11.30am so I’m good!
Just had to save Doug’s sorry ass.
He had a garbage fire in his living room which is wall to wall garbage.
He was so drunk he slept through a 90 decibel smoke alarm that got me up from across the hall!!!
Thank God he gave me a spare key!!!
The fire is out, but his response?
Blaming everything on ‘breaking his arm’ when all he did was bruise it two months ago and sitting there like a self-pitying pig in shit.
Needless to say he dropped hints about me lending him some money, but I just ignored him…
Now I stink of smoke and so does my flat…
God Bless!

Unfortunately I can’t get him sectioned, but Housing and Social Services have been alerted!
He has to clean his flat – he insists on doing it Monday Morning – but the people will also be showing up on Monday so I have taken the hard choice to walk away and leave him to his own devices as he WILL NOT LISTEN and do what he needs to do!!!
On a different tack: I had a tooth filled Friday morning and the filling fell out while I was cleaning my teeth Saturday night, so Monday I have to arrange for my dentist to drill out an old amalgam filling and refill the whole tooth.
I hate it, but what choice do I have?
Hope you have a great week my friend!

Hi Ian!
Second comment!
Red liked the ATA but it needed a bit of rewriting which she did for me!
I’m barely getting by on my income as it is so everything has to be as cheap as possible!
Thankfully there are some clever folks of the forum and Gail has made a video trailer for You Tube and Laurie helped with the wording!
Red emailed me the pdf files of the finished manuscripts and told me I had been accepted for an LCCN, but I have no idea what that is!!!
Whatever it is, it is a good thing apparently!
God Bless my friend and Happy Australia Day!!!

Hi Ian!
Just caught your comment!
You are right of course: I just wrote about my first attempt at writing and how my mum’s friend wanted to publish it for me, but dad made me burn it a page at a time to impress on me how crap it was before destroying my typewriter.
Needless to say he didn’t bother to read it first…
The second attempt I wrote about my paranoid schizophrenia and how it didn’t hold me back from being chair of the T&RA and a Director of RoFTRA before I took eleven months out to care for Darrell after his stroke until he moved to the bungalow near his family.
It is hard not to define your life by your health, especially when there is so much prejudice about mental illness…

Yup!
We weren’t even on the snowfall radar according to the weather people, but we got a few good inches of the white stuff with more threatening to be on its way!
It’s going to be a cold week because we’re getting a wind from the Baltic and it’s hitting the South and East coasts.
Manchester is on the other side of the Pennines so we’re not getting it as bad and we had bright sunshine today, so it was a day for sun glasses – or a bad case of snow blindness…

Hi Prenin, thanks for replying, I have thought about what you said and discussed it with professionals, they state the same as you, let it all out on paper, only problem mate is that somethings in war cannot be printed, not because they, in reality can;t, but in reality cannot, as it can be too much for some people to understand. First comment!
Yeah my weight was 106Kg when I was at the surgery for the blood tests.
I can’t check my weight because my scale’s battery is finished and I can’t obtain a replacement.
The only thing I can do is buy a set of spring scales which I’ll do next month as it’s not exactly urgent.
Second comment!
Yeah they also like to play games with the prices – charging more in winter and doing deals with customers in the Summer to keep their business.
It wouldn’t surprise me if they charge more for smaller towns – they have a captive market!
Third comment!
Yeah it was a busy day!

Just sending you all a thought or Three and hoping Summer is breathing some of her energy into you all…I think you could all do with some Sunshine what with all your upsets recently. So sending a Big Hug to you and Ana… and All the family… Healing thoughts still being sent… Love and Best wishes..

Thank you my dear friend for your caring and very thoughtful comments, your visit never fails to brighten my world.
A beautiful hot sunny Sunday here and am enjoying a relaxing weekend, next weekend we are heading off into mountainous bush country so that Ana can see the country I walked through back in my army days. That was a lovely piece you submitted on Rememberance.
I wish you much love and happiness my dear friend.

Hi Ian!
Thanks for the visit and comment!
Yeah I had a small win last month, £11.80, which paid for my shopping and new tickets!
I only expected £3.10 so it was a nice surprise!

Lots of luck my friend!
The thought of what I could do with this town if I only had the money keeps me going!
We’ve been the money pit for Rochdale for decades, our taxes and services asset stripped to keep the marginal seats happy and voting for the council!
When Middleton lost its council our services had all new gear supplied from vehicles to lawn mowers, then Rochdale took over and all the new gear was stripped out and the old gear moved in to replace it.
Now they are talking about giving us back our council, but not our gear!!!
God Bless!

I understand what you are saying Prenin, the same thing has occurred here , they call it decentralizing where your council comes under the jurisdiction of a nearer larger council, we are assured that we will still get the same services but in reality that only lasts about a year and then it slowly dwindles, its all a government cost saving exercise.
Cheers mate

Good morning Prenin, its Wednesday here and great Summers day forecast, glad you got your shamozzle sorted out, must be a pain in the arse resetting your modem each day, a genius like you will find a solution, hope the weather is not hurting you too much, our lotto draw last night was 70 million with no winners so next week its 100 million, definitely going to have a ticket in that one too.

The only option I found that works is to reboot my modem.
Apparently they are happy for us to pay for the service, but object to people using it!!!
I need it for streaming TV and radio, so I have to put up with it…
Hope you win the Big One my friend – luck like that is to be dreamed of!!!

Hi Ian!
The phone problem just gets worse!
They’ve ‘borrowed’ a phone line from somebody in Moston and put me on it, but left them without a line so we’ve become bosom buddies in our moaning about ‘Talk Talk’ who seem incapable of getting a job done right and blame everyone but themselves…
On the plus side my calls are no longer redirected, but I won’t be able to relax until I know this mess is sorted out!
God Bless!

Third comment!
Hi Ian!
Yes I live in a rough area and going out to the shop can be a tad risky, in fact the teenagers tried to break into the block last week – they used heavy tools to shear off the hinge bolt on the entrance gate which is as thick as my finger!
Fortunately my neighbour Tony caught them and read then the riot act, so they left and I arranged for the repair of the gate,
Thank God we’ve got decent neighbours!
God Bless!

Bloody hell mate I dont know how you can tolerate that environment.
My next door neighbours here where I live happen to be two policeman
No probs with them except they work early morning shift and their lights wake me during the early mornings
But great security. plus we have security gates for our estate which has only five houses
Think I would need a 45 living in your area mate

Hi Ian!
Thanks for the visit and comment!
Yeah Red is a wonder, but she did herself a mischief and no mistake!
As for the cold?
It seems to have gotten no better today.
I woke at about 6pm and threw up, but my stomach has settled again, I just feel seriously un-motivated at the moment.
I wrote the preface for book 3, but the whole story needs work really if it is to come up to scratch.
That’s what happens when you are struggling for ideas!!!
The weather here is crap – flooding, fallen trees, one person dead from a falling branch and COLD!
Apparently all the wet weather is coming from an old hurricane out in the Atlantic which is feeding moist air into a huge low pressure area driven by the jet stream.
Looks like we’re in for one cold winter…
God Bless my friend!

Hi Ian, glad you enjoyed,, sorry not been around much or on my site until today as I came down with a virus which knocked me sideways.. feeling better today and recovering slowly.. Just catching up with comments via WP..
I figured I caught the virus on the homeward plane journey from holiday as people were sneezing and coughing around me.. Plus the temp drop on returning home..
Now we here in UK have had a months rain in one day, lucky we are not affected as some places which are flooded out again.. If people cannot see the changes in climate.. and see the ‘Signs’ for themselves, they are blind Ian..
I hope at least things are more brighter where you are… and hope all is well with family.. Still sending in that direction..
Love and light to you and Ana..

Yes I dream up each chapter and flesh it out, then enter it onto the manuscript.
It’s a slow process though: On a bad day I write one chapter, on a good day three!!!

Hi my dear friend Sue , sorry for the delay in answering , world has been a bit of a mess for me at the moment, Ben recovered from his op, it was a vicious Cancer but seems to be under control, he has to have 3 monthly checks though, the week after his discharge from hospital his mother died, my first wife of 24 years, so I travelled to Adelaide to give support to him and his brother and sister with the funeral arrangements, also to give support to her husband who happens to be a Vietnam veteran like me, weird but a fact of life, I didn’t attend the funeral but returned home to find another death of a family member, so travelled down south and have just returned from that event, overall its been a bit hectic, I took a day off and done some archaelogy work with my brother which was great, cant disclose it on facebook as it is stuff that is never been seen, surfice to say its ancient Aboriganal sites and artifacts and Cairns never seen before, must admit Sue it was breathtaking goosebumps seeing and touching things no white man has seen for over 25 thousand years, will leak bits on my facebook as its cleared by the Govt, So Sue the whole scenario of my life at the moment has been all over the places emotionally, hope to settle down soon and get back to my old routine of blogging, best wishes Princess and keep smiling

Aww Ian, I am so sorry, sounds like you have been bombarded from all quarters emotionally .. I am sending well wishes and more for your Son’s Healing, But I am sure his strong willed Spirit will see him self heal and be fine.
As to your ‘Dig’ with your Brother it sounds fascinating, And maybe the time is NOW when those artefacts surface again.. You know our Aboriginal brothers knew and know such a lot more than we.. And our ancient wisdoms are once again resurfacing to teach us all again about our ancestors..
Glad you were able to go and help take your mind to another place Ian..

Thanks Sue for all your kind thoughts and comments, yes it has been an emotional bombardment of time for me and my children over the last few weeks, all is calming down now and I think the true grieving will begin with my kids, time heals all wounds but leaves the scars.
I have taken a few days off and headed up into the mountains in search of my favourite hobby, Indiginous archaelogy which I will post later.
Some of our findings we dont report to the Govt authorities as it tends to become a tourist attraction and our recent finds such as burial mounds we record and keep in our closed diary , if they have survived 25,000 years they deserve to be left to the spirits of the lands of their birth.
Cheers Sue , your a beautiful Princess friend

Hi Ian,
the birthday party was indeed very enjoyable. Natasha, the sweet birthday girl, was very happy and smiling all the time. Everyone had a great time. Later on I might still post a few pics about the party.
The Brandenburg Gate for sure is going to feature again in one of our pics.
Good to hear you had your youngest son with you on Father’s Day.
Our youngest daughter and her partner had come to Natasha’s party on Saturday. Then they stayed overnight at our place. Matthew had to go back to Sydney for work on Sunday, whereas Caroline could spend the rest of the day with us, which was great.
Our daughter Monika comes to see us off on Thursday night, also some of her family. On Friday we are on our way to Sydney to stay overnight with daughter Caroline who’s going to drive us to the airport on Saturday.
Thanks for your good wishes, Ian. All the best to you and your wife and the rest of the family and especially Ben!

I know what I want to happen, but making it happen is really quite hard!

Sounds like its a stop and go type of writing now mate , but coming together as it unfolds in the mind.
Maybe there is time to bring in Lavinia , the queen of the girls from the isle of Lesbos , she is very dominating and overpowering in her special ways , maybe because she is a Hermaphrodite and has a penchant for dominating the Souls of the dead , particularly females , her supernatural powers outweigh the powers of the men who inhabit the planet Zeus, a planet of half man and animal.
Well mate thats just a bit of bullshit from my wandering mind this morning.

Yes the weather here in the UK has been a tad wet with caravan parks in Wales disappearing under five and a half feet of water!

Right now I have to get John, my main character, trained to use ESP and while I made a good start in the previous chapters I need to find a plausible way to get his teacher, a member of the holy order of the Inquisition, into his home to train him up!
Needless to say, the church have a use for him…

Your weather sounds a bit like ours at the moment with floods causing evacuations and storms hitting the coasts
The whole world weather patterns are changing all the time, but to be honest I think they have been changing for many centuries its just that now technology has given us the means to monitor and map them, this in turn gives more exposure of the weather to us all , whereas in olden days we accepted it day by day and year by year

Hi Ian!
Yes it DOES sound like one of Andro’s offerings! LoL!
Actually a black judge is a kind of Texas Ranger in space who hunts down the untouchable bad guys and gals, then delivers instant justice!

Hi Ian!
Yes, it is true: Sweden has no army as such, just a militia, and her only battleship is over 300 years old!
Next years Eurovision contest is going to be a good one – just think of all those luscious blondes!!!

Now you have me intrigued in her battleship
Surely must be a museum piece.
When I was young I wanted to live in Sweden for all the threesomes and sex orgys and all those luscious blondes too
Why are the Swedish females all blondes and have those legs that reach right up to their armpits
and those piercing blue eyes of innocence and demand ? damned if I know

Yes, if I remember correctly she’s a three deck sailing ship in a museum – and you can visit her!
I’m a bit hazy where the details are concerned, but the Vasa sank on her maiden voyage – apparently she was so top heavy she turned turtle in just a mild breeze rather like Henry VIII’s Mary Rose.
The Swedes built a few ships for WWI coastal defence, but I have no idea if they too are museum pieces or not…
Have a look on the web – there’s bound to be something on the subject…

Hi Ian!
Just took a peek at the natural news and it is really scary!
Fukushima Diiachi was a major disaster, yet the Japanese government tried to sit on the information.
Now we have Independent proof that the fallout is dangerously high in Tokyo even after the event!
I now have no doubt that we cannot trust the authorities to tell the truth even when millions are going to live shortened lives thanks to the radiation contamination and the reactor 4 fuel cooling pond needs to be empties as soon as possible in case of another earthquake.
Crazy…

Hi Ian!
Yes, you get winter and we get summer!
It’s not all that hot here (26′C expected today), but we’re not used to it so when it hits 32′C people start dying.
A few years back we had 35′C days and high humidity, so 5,000 or so people (mostly elderly) died and they were using freezer trucks as over-spill mortuaries.
Ever since then I’ve had a healthy respect for summer weather…

Hi Ian!
Yes, the abuse reports are the tip of the iceberg.
Already another nine men have been arrested in Rochdale on a new set of abuse charges and again it seems the CPS were unwilling to take the initial complaints of the children concerned to the courts.
NOW they are shifting off their complacent asses and getting the job done!
Needless to say there is a lot of concern among our local taxi drivers that they’ll pay for other people’s crimes…

Hi Ian!
Ann Marie Dwyer (Red to everyone) is a book editor and has lots of links to the publishing world.
She likes my book and has plans to edit it (with a bit of help from me) and get it published.
She’s a fantastic woman and a mother of ten kids who is currently involved in her daughter’s wedding – or it has already happened, I’m a bit hazy about this – and has already given me a lot of help!
Red says that the book is good, so I’m hoping for good things, but the whole process is VERY slow, so I’m just being patient and working on the second book.
One thing I know about her is that she’s deadly honest and a fascinating personality – but then given my mum is a doormat any strong woman fascinates me!
No worries about keeping up – I have problems myself!

Hi Ian!
Yeah I know what you mean.
Since the Conservatives got in power they’ve been trying to strip as many people as possible of their benefits, first by changing the names of the benefits, then sliding as many people as possible onto them before downgrading them to a lower rate and ‘empowering’ them into seeking employment or starve.
And if you don’t appear to be trying hard enough they ‘empower’ you still further by stopping your benefits for a week!
If you still fail to get a job or get enough interviews your benefits can be stopped for six months, costing you food, utilities and, if rented, your home…
No wonder I fear the future…

Yes, but not under British law thank God!
They will face a British court and British law will prevail – this time.
Unbelievably the British Government has made Sharia civil law legal in the UK, the first foot in the door for those who want to spread their outmoded legal system…
I have many Asian friends, mostly taxi drivers, and they are worried that this mess is going to spread even though the Police are trying to keep a lid on it.
The news services are keeping reports just in the local news for now so as not to stir things up even more.
Meanwhile the main news programs are not reporting on this – censorship perchance?
Whatever the reason this is one case where no news would be good news…
God help us…

I agree wholeheartedly Ian!
There are reports the National Front (Nazis) are stirring up trouble, the Police have been injured by thugs who have attacked the two takeaways where the alleged offenders used to work (Now under new management) so they have both had to close on Police orders and the trouble has spread to Heywood where the Asian taxi drivers have had to stop working for fear of being attacked!
And, as yet, the alleged offenders have yet to face trial and there are rumors that they may be able to avoid paying for their crimes because the defence can argue that that they will not get Justice!
All I can say is Thank God I’m not Asian…

Racial tensions are rife all over the world causing wars and bigotry and hatred
and mainly through religion but in Heywood case it is more sinister , it stems
from the Muslim perception of females , whereby they are subordinate to male
and neither underage males or females are protected ,the answer for their crimes
will be found in the Koran because in there is a cover answer for all crimes
committed by Muslims validating their right to their actions

Hi Ian!
You have to go to the Kaspersky website; follow their instructions to download a copy of the latest version (Kaspersky 2012) which includes telling you how to pay for it, then remove your old version of Kaspersky before running the installation program.
Once done, select the 30 day trial option so as to give you protection while they figure out your start key and post it to your email which you will have given them when you paid for the key.
I pay by credit card because it’s safer!
Once you have it enter it into your Kaspersky 2012 program as usual – if in doubt print off the instructions – and you SHOULD be up and running!
Hope that helps!

Hi Ian!
Thanks for the visit and comment!
I keep dreaming of winning, but every ticket that fails to win makes anticipation turn to frustration as I find my hopes dashed only to buy another two tickets!
I’m just bloody-minded enough to make it though through sheer slug-brained stubbornness!!! LOL!
I managed to get onto Jen’s blog thanks to Andro’s suggestion to use the link in his blogroll, but WP certainly seems to have its problems…
Thanks for the kind words Ian.
Here everything is serene and I’m on the Dracula shift so I’ll be off to bed at lunch time – as you can tell I don’t have much to occupy my hours!
Sorry to hear about the bad weather my friend – I know you need the water, but not quite as much as you seem to be getting!
The weather across the world seems to becoming more extreme – the Tornado’s in America being a case in point…
God Bless my friend and I hope things improve soon!

Hi Ian!
According to my doctor it’s rheumatism, but my systems are all OK apart from that.
Doctor Jiva gave me painkillers, but I use them only when it hurts so much I can’t sleep.
According to Nurse Mary at the medical centre I’m OK apart from raised Liver enzyme levels and a medium level of Cholesterol which I’m dealing with by dieting even more rigorously than before as I not only have to lose weight, but get rid of the bad fats from my diet.
If I haven’t improved by July then they are going to put me on Statins which means more diet problems as they make you put on weight – I’m doing so well I really hate the thought of putting on yet more mass!!!
On the plus side my weight continues to go down slowly and that’s good as it’ll be slow to go back on.
I’m still aiming for 98Kg as a target weight, but it’ll be a year before I get there, so I have to be patient…
God Bless my friend!

Hello, Ian,
Thank you for visiting my site and sharing; I appreciate it. I’ve enjoyed browsing through yours and reading your poetry; will look forward to receiving updates! I notice you posted a warning about people “borrowing” your material. A stranger “re-blogged” an entire post of mine, including many of my photographs, without asking and I thought I had no recourse…just amazing. Any suggestions?
Thanks, and peace to your day,

Hi Catherine O’Meara , thank you for visiting my space and joining my network of friends
I decided a while back when spaces moved to wordpress to add that copyright notice
as , like you , someone extracted one of my poems and changed a few words for thir internet sales pitch
on products they were selling , there is not much you can do except request they remove the works and advice them
they are in breach of copyright , other than that you can contact wordpress and advise them that you have a copyright infringement.
It is important to do this Catherine especially if they are using your pictures.
I hope you can resolve the matter as I fully understand the hurt and frustration we go through when this happens
I wish you much love and happiness Princess and look forward to our friendship

Hi Ian!
Yes, food dreams are a problem now I’m sticking to my diet.
I am down to 113.1Kg despite Christmas and I hope to lose more over the next year.
I have a loooong way to go, but I am determined to lose my porky belly.
The only trouble is that I keep losing my underwear – the fat that used to make them fit is now long gone!!! LoL!!!
Hope you have a great week my friend – here it is bouts of rain on cold, cloudy days that make it pretty dark and dismal…
God Bless!

Hi Ian!
I have had several Tiger dreams, usually involving Snow Tigers or Bengal Tigers and I’m always in the cage with them, but in no danger of harm.
Weird huh?
I decided to have a break from endless cups of tea and bought eight cans of Breaker Lager (Loopy juice according to the locals) which should last me until shopping day.
The weather has improved, but the dawn was a really weird colour and the clouds looked really strange in the twilight…
I did a good deed, so I’m happy, but our postman is a sap – three times now I’ve ended up with letters intended for Silverstone, number 32 on my Close and now one for 39 Elm Street all in the space of three months!
Oh well: He’s a nice bloke, but doesn’t read his addresses correctly…
God Bless my friend and hope it doesn’t get TOO warm – it’s getting colder here…

Just got your second comment!
It’s 6.1′C outside with a VERY strong wind that has periods of extreme violence and a mix of rain and hail which I’m glad to avoid!
The storm is moving on though and the winds is slowly easing.
With luck we should see the last of it by tonight.

You are the Wendy
From my wonderland
Of dreams
A faraway land
Of love
I am Peter Pan
I write our songs
Of love
A duet of romance
I write from the
Never ending
Lands of our dreams
I take you by the hand
And hold you
Close to my heart
As we fly
Through times and spaces
Young lovers
At heart
We play and laugh
And we dream
Between the skies
And earths
We chase each other
In loves pursuit
Between the heavens
And stars
We love
Beneath the smiling eyes
Of the pale blue moon
I hold you close
My Wendy
From the faraway land
Of dreams
As we explore
The memories
We once shared
So many times before
Memories of other places
Other lives and lands
When we laughed
And loved
Down through the ages
On different lands
And shores
Come fly with me
Again tonight
My Wendy
From the faraway land
Of love
Take hold
Of the writing hand
Of magic and dreams
Take hold of the hand
Of your Peter Pan
Of love
And sail with me
On our Spanish Galleon
As we sail the waves
And skies
Of the heavens
Sail with me
My Wendy
Into our never ending land
Of love

The hip is OK again, so I SHOULD be mobile for Thursday’s shopping (we’re expecting strong winds and cold rain), but if not I have enough food to last two weeks, so I COULD put it off if I have to.
Hope you’re enjoying the cold beer and warm weather my friend – I plan on buying 16 cans of Tetleys finest instead of the spirits I normally drink, as I’m allowed 2 cans per day on my diet!

Indeed you did my friend and, despite my inclinations to help the needy, everything that is happening is because Doug is doing it to himself, NOT because the system is screwing him around!
I suspect that the day is coming when he’ll lose it all and then he’ll make good his threat to slash his throat in front of me, but I suspect he may lack the courage to do even that…

Hi Ian!
Yes, Doug IS a sick puppy and he’s not getting better.
Soon he’ll have no benefits – they’ll sign him off for not taking the training course – and so no money, or home as they’ll not pay his rent.
I tried to help him and all he’s done is screw with my head.
I found another note from him asking for pain killers, but I won’t give them to him because he keeps threatening suicide.
Oh Joy…
God Bless my friend!

Sooner or later mate Doug will be homeless as the benefits dry up
due to his non compliance with requirements
Once this happens he will become destitute
and then he will be desparate and will have to rely on charity
Dont end up being that charity mate

Maybe get Doug on the net , now theres a bloke who would qualify as a versatile guy

Hi Ian!
Yeah I can see the point of it, but Doug keeps on indulging his addictions while swearing blind that he has quit.
He’s got the shakes now every time he misses a drink, swears blind he’s quit, then comes up with yet another excuse as to why he has to drink!
He swore he’d quit smoking too, but now he’s getting tobacco from wherever he can.
I wouldn’t mind if he were honest about it, but he keeps trying for the sympathy vote.
I’ve been desperate for food on occasion – I even did a bit of shoplifting until the money came in, but I’m not proud of it and will never do it again!
The poor cannot afford pride, or as a Ferengi rule of aquisition put it: Pride and an empty sack is worth the sack…
God Bless!

Hi Ian!
Just caught your second comment!
Yeah it was a kind of weird Sunday, but I guess the threat of imminent death doesn’t bother me as much as it used to – we all go one way or another and there’s not a whole lot we can do about it!
If it happens again I’ll call out the paramedics and get them to check me out.
If worst comes to worst I’ll end up in Hospital for a few days – make a change from my place I guess…
God Bless my Friend and be well!

Hi Ian!
Yes I’ll keep buying the darned things – if I win (a big if) then I too shall be most amazed and amused!!!
Doug already had a hug off me and had no idea how to take it! LoL!!!
He’s such a mess as a person and so lacking in pride in himself and his home that both look as if they’ve been trashed by burglars – in fact it would be tidier IF he were burgled! LoL!!!
Yep: I’ll keep looking after my teeth – thank God I have a good dentist in John!!!
Here in the UK NHS dentists are as rare as hens teeth, the majority preferring private patients.
John’s practice was extended a few years back and they had people queueing down the street , the 5,000 places taken by lunchtime!!!

That’s something I learned the hard way Ian – dad taught me NOBODY who is close to you can be trusted.
After all the crap I was put through it took me ages to open up again and find new friends like you, Sue, and the others, but harsh experience has taught me that nobody in this stinking town can be trusted because money is all they care about.
All I can do is take each day as a gift and try to stay positive…

Great comment mate and a look into your mindset ,people that chase money have not evolved enough to realize
that friendship , companionship and love is all that counts to survive , you have many friends on here mate , and like me
we will probably never meet them but their hearts are in the right place , next month I get to meet Sue on her way through
back home , first time I will meet someone from the net apart from Ana who I married , am looking forward to meeting Sue

Dead right my friend!
Saw Doug this morning after he pushed a piece of card through my door asking me to fix his heating, but it looks like the thermostat is broken.
He was dropping hints about my cleaning up his flat for him – it is such a mess it is unbelievable – because he doesn’t want to call repairs and have somebody come into his flat when it is in its current state and dropped hints about me giving him a cuddle, but I have two good reasons not to:
1. I’m not gay, although he keeps dropping hints which I suspect is because he’s trying to prove I am and;
2. He doesn’t wash so he is a walking talking health hazard…
Have a great weekend dude and give Sue a hug from me!!!

Hi Ian!
Just caught your comment and you are right of course, but as long as I’m on meds I am a bit short of options.
I CAN come off them for a couple of days at a time so I can get to appointments, but these days I have to arrange my life around when I’m able to wake…
As you say: Life isn’t a rehearsal…
I’m hoping to get to church on Sunday and see everyone – I have to be wary because my tormentors used the church for a set-up a few months back, so it’s best if I remain unpredictable, but we’ll see!

Hi Ian!
Looks like Doug is just being manipulative – he COULD stop drinking for good, but has no wish to, so now he drinks in secret all the while claiming to be booze free and thinks I’m too dumb to notice him slipping into his home with a bag full of booze.
All I can do is wait for the next bout of amateur dramatics and maybe the letter through the door announcing his suicide attempt – in plenty of time for me to arrange the emergency services, naturally…
I’ll know more in fifteen days – according to Doug it was mentioned on ‘House’ (American Medical drama) that without sleep you go insane in fifteen days and are dead in twenty.
Working on a major project I managed 52 hours, then fell asleep at my desk!!! LoL!!!
God Bless!

Hi Ian!
Yes, Doug is a pain, but he’s so hopelessly screwed up and such a pathetic coward – He even ties into the Ward Gangster Family who used him to set me up for the media – that he goes from butter wouldn’t melt to Uber gangster after only a small amount of booze.
His latest is he wants me to write his C.V for him so he can get a job – even though he’s so unfit he walked out of a local factory because he got tired!!!
Does ‘Lost Cause’ ring a bell???
He’s got his legs back though and this is day 2 of his abstinence from alcohol – his record is four days, then he got totally rat-arsed and turned up crying and threatening suicide for the fourth or fifth time.
Like my mum said: If he meant it he wouldn’t be talking about it he’d be dead…
At nleast he didn’t threaten to get a gun and shoot the entire DHSS staff.again..
God Bless!

Always be aware of your surroundings Ian , people such as Doug can be unpredictable and in many cases the more you give them attention the more they rely on you and they can get frustrated if you are not there for them when they want you , just be wary mate .
Have a great stress free weekend

Thanks Ian, believe me I am!
Doug knocked on earlier (1pm) to ask me where to get an umbrella from and if I did CV’s, so I said no.
The Jobcentre do a Job Club where they’ll help him write a CV, but for some reason he came to me even knowing that…
Oh well: The weekend beckons!
God Bless my friend!!!

Hi mate , good to see you are in control and not letting others dictate your life or emotions
Sometimes people need to realize that they are in control of their life and that others cannot always hold their hand , think you need to start thinking about becoming a social councillor Ian

I am just calling by to say don’t worry when you cannot access my Space from this one,
as I have had to remove your Username from my Private Area, your other WordPress site
is still on mine though so no problemo..The reason for deleting the one here is because I

June 27, 2011 at 07:00
Yes I have no idea why this is happening, perhaps if I enter your

stop your access…

I’m o.k Ian, I live in the North Island… It’s a mess down there in Christchurch alright they think maybe 400 dead unofficially.. Everyone’s scared down there now and packing up and leaving Christchurch can’t say I blame them, I think that city will turn into a ghost town after this latest quake…

On Valentine’s Day we think of those
Who make our lives worthwhile,
Those gracious, friendly people who
We think of with a smile.
I am fortunate to know you,
That’s why I want to say,
To a rare and special person
Happy Valentine’s Day!

Hi dera Ian!

Weekends are a bit like rainbows; they look good from a distance but disappear when you get up close to them.
I stepped out to greet you and to wish you a nice weekend. I hope it will not go away too quickly
