Such a fragile creature

from the heavens

garden of Eden

wings of gossamer

woven on the looms

of the angels

in colours

of radiant gold

and silver

sunlight dancing

on her wings

illuminating

the beauty held

within

a butterfly of love

alights upon my heart

and stirs imaginations

of a love

of such purest beauty

I feel my butterfly

fluttering

upon my soul

and before the eyes

of a dreamer

a metamorphosis

of vision

evokes a beauty

of such splendour

created by the Gods

of eternal love

hair of curls

as a halo

surrounding the face

of the most beautiful

of heavens angels

In my dreams

my angel

of the butterfly wings

takes me

into her arms

and surrounds my soul

with her wings of love

I feel the kiss

of the eternal lips

of love

upon my heart

For but a moment

in time

a soul lost

to eternal wanderings

amongst the stars

and heavens

of the cosmos

felt the touch

of love

when a tiny butterfly

of love

fluttered

into my heart
